Cascades Apartments by Propr ★★★

The view.

Yesterday (7 April 2021) when I went to collect my keys from the lockbox I had some trouble opening up the box. I then called Propr, just to find out that the code that they provided me in the email was incorrect. Before going to collect the key, I did call the company to make sure that the code has not change and the person that I spoke to assured me that the code had remained the same and if it changes he will make sure to send me the new code, which he obviously did not. Upon arrival at the apartment I had no idea where to park and had to call Propr back and forth. I was never informed that the apartment number and parking bay number did not correspond (due to lack of communication and information from the Propr team). When I eventually found the parking there were construction equipment in the parking and I had to make my own plan from there. There were two lights not working in the apartment. One in the bedroom and one in the living area. The blinds in the bedroom are also faulty, they do not cover the entire window. The tv in the living area was working however the dstv does not switch on. The batteries of the dstv were flat, which I already had changed (this should’ve been checked before I even got here). Even though I’ve changed the batteries, the decoder still does not switch on. I’m extremely disappointed in the service (or the lack there off). I was suppose to stay here for two weeks but I really do not want to anymore. I want to request a refund. Please get back to me ASAP. That’s some of the information that I’ve sent to the Propr team and they never came back to me. I tried calling more than once, they just ignored my calls

Picking up keys at a different venue was inconvenient but staff helpful as I have never used a lock box before. Noise levels on Friday and Saturday night in the street below, all hours of the night right to 4h30, was unpleasant.

Good location

the cleaning was not in top. and the equipment in kitchen needed to be replaced.

Just to fetch the key far away from the exact accommodation. The local tv was not accesable.The room was not clean up to standard even upon complaining that was not attended to.

The location. Leniency towards check out time depending on the reason.

The couch had stains. The TV remote wasn't working properly. Bad instructions on how to obtain the keys.

The host didn't let us know before booking this apartment that there were some construction work going on, hence it was noisy, we were woken up by the noise of construction and during the day as well, there was no peace of mind. Our room was not clean it was too dusty and the host kept on saying the cleaning lady was coming and she never did, she only came to change the pillows and that was after we hv already checked in, it seemed like she did not hv an idea that they r people inside the apartment because she didn't knock and she kept on putting her own keys and trying to open the door.
